The girls and I went Strawberry picking this morning. And, it was oh so much fun! Both girls really got into it and Georgia quickly figured out what to do. She would pick them and if they wouldn't pop off the vine, she'd simply lean over and start munching. Nothing tastes better than fresh strawberries straight off (or on in her case) the vine, right? :)

Georgia is 11 months old!
Only one more month until my little baby girl is one year's old! Yay! Invites are finally out. Well, at least to my side of the family and friends - so keep you eyes on the mail. Chad has chosen to instead email his family/friends and I'm not sure when he is planning on getting around to that. But, have no fear. You are invited.
Georgia has been enjoying the spring weather and we try to go outside at least once a day. She's learned how to climb up the small slide in our backyard and slide down. She also likes riding her riding toys around in the cul-da-sack. I think she feels like she is "playing" with the bigger kids when she does this. She's also talking more and loves to point. Just this morning she said "ba-nanananana" for banana and she regularly gets "mama" and "dada" correct. She is still not walking and really isn't very much interested in doing so. She gets really mad if you try to make her. I guess she enjoys the bear crawl she's perfected.
Other than that, she is quite the troublemaker. She really enjoys getting into anything and everything and lets out an evil laugh/squeal combination if you tell her no. Here are a few pictures of when we've caught her playing in the bathroom (one of her favorite activities).
Disney On Ice
Ms. Michele and I took Sara to see her very first Disney On Ice. She was thrilled for her girls night out and so excited that she got to wear her Snow White costume for her night on the town.
I was very impressed when we first arrived because we had to wind our way through booths, booths and more booths filled with junk-food toys. Sara merely mentioned that she would like one to which I replied that she can add it to her birthday list and that was that. No meltdowns. I was quite proud of her and figured we would be meltdown free from here on out.
But, Sara fooled me. She did good getting to our seats and waiting for the show to start. However, when the show started and all the princesses came out, Sara lost it when she realized that she would not be the one performing tonight. She wailed that she needed to be out there on the stage with the other princesses. After a brief talk about how she could either stay and dance in the aisle or we could go home, she calmed down and danced in the aisle the rest of the night. Sara would dance right along with the princesses. If they spun around, Sara would spin, if they leaped into the air, Sara would leap, if they were thrown into the air by their prince, Sara would grab onto the railing and try to throw herself into the air. It was precious.
All was the good the remainder of the night (and she stayed up three hours past her bedtime thanks to the Cotton Candy provided by Ms. Michele) until the last curtain drew and Sara had her last meltdown because she was not ready for the show to end.
She can't wait to go back next year - and maybe even bring Georgia and Daddy.

We found them!
Driving home from a photo shoot last week, I spotted a huge field of bluebonnets only a block from our house! As much as I wanted to drag the girls out of bed that instant and do our bluebonnet shoot, I refrained until we actually had some time. And, that happened last night. I'm so glad we found these so we didn't have to risk another failed drive out to Chapel Hill. I think they turned out nicely. I'm only posting a few favorites and then a link to the rest. EASTER :)
We had a great Easter at our place. The girls enjoyed waking up to a basket full of goodies and Sara was very excited about getting to go outside to hunt all the eggs that "Easter" hid for her. We then had everyone over for BBQ and beer. Good times :) Ignore Sara's "nightgown" - she likes wearing weird thing to bed. And the swim suit is what the Easter bunny brought her, so of course, she wanted to hunt eggs in it.
