Sara's Very First Gymnastics Meet

Sara performed in her very first gymnastics meet this Saturday. She showed everyone all the cool tricks she's learned in her gymnastics class and came home with a big, fat medal. She thinks she is big stuff now. Sara was disappointed to see that there was no stage to perform on though. Hopefully she'll get all excited about the dance recital then :) --- It is Saturday, June 4th, so mark it down!

The girls were both very excited and wanted to take some pictures while loading up the car.

Sara wanted to do some of her own posing.

And, here is the gymnastics meet. Chad took all the pictures as Georgia Ann would not leave my lap the entire time. She did do a great job at cheering on her sister though. :)

Rodeo Time - Yeehaw!

I'm almost a month late posting this... but, alas - here is our annual rodeo post. Because we are short on vacation time, we decided to take the girls early on a Sunday morning. The crowd level wasn't too bad and both girls were in a good mood. They enjoyed seeing all the animals and playing "farmer" outside. Both girls were also really excited about the pony rides but at the very last minute, Georgia Ann chickened out. Oh well, maybe next time.

Loading up. All decked out.

Heading in with Daddy.
Waiting in line for the pony rides.

Georgia Ann was enthralled with the real-live ponies!

Sara and Georgia waiting in line. Almost there.

Rodeo princess Sara :)

Georgia Ann checking out the freshly hatched chicks.

 and some full grown chickens.

The petting zoo!!

And, onto the outside farming exhibit.

We ended our rodeo experience with a few rides. Here is Mommy and Sara sliding down the wild slide. Sara said it was "awesome". Georgia Ann was upset that she was too small for any of the rides so we ended up leaving shortly afterwards.

Big Girl Bed!

Guess who moved up to a "big girl" bed? :) And, she LOVES it!! She's only gotten out twice. The first time was the first morning, when she met us at the door. I put her back in bed with a reminder that she needs to stay there until we get her. And, that lasted almost a week. Then, a few days ago, I went to get up from naptime and she was caught, red-handed, sitting in her rocking chair, looking at books. Again, I put her back in bed with the reminder. Before I could add "and next time you get out, you're going to time out," she stuck out her lip in the cutest little pout and said "books" -- as if, reading was a good excuse for skipping naptime, lol. It was pretty cute :)

So - here she is... Georgia Ann + New Bed...
