Curlers!!

In part of the lost pictures, I found these cuties. We went to my cousin's wedding and Sara got have her hair curled for the first time. She thought she was something else.

Found lost pictures!!

Woohoo!! When I was downloading the pictures from the last wedding I shot, I got a bonus surprise. I found some pictures that I thought I had deleted long ago. Woohoo!! I just now got around to editing them - but here they are. My two cuties on Halloween night. Sara LOVED showing Georgia Ann how to trick o' treat (and how did she manage to remember all that from last year?!?). They had a great time and ended up collecting tons of candy. We still have full buckets all these months later. How long does candy last, anyhow? Well, here they are...

Sara's first Ballet!!

This year we added a new tradition to our holiday festivities. Mommy, Sara and Granny all went to the local Nutcracker ballet. Sara was really excited to see the Nutcraker and the Sugar Plum Fairy - but after it was over, she said her favorite were the mice! And, she wants to perform next year. We'll see how that goes. Overall, she did pretty well and sat through the entire show. We can't wait until little Georgia Ann is big enough to join us. Here a few pictures from the day.

Decorating the Tree!!

Last week we went tree shopping and came home to decorate our house. Yay! We got the prettiest tree and both girls really enjoyed hanging up all the decorations. We also made our own advent calendar by handing 24 little mittens from our mantle. We filled each mitten with a scripture + the girls (well, just Sara this year) brainstormed 24 nice things to do + candy. Each day we move the baby Jesus to the next mitten, read the scripture, do our nice deed and then enjoy some Smarties. I hope we can make this a little tradition and do it again next year.

Catching up....yet again

Hi everyone! Things have been insanely busy between my photography business and getting ready for the holidays. Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Be prepared to be blasted with pictures and mini-updates as I try to catch up. First, in all the craziness of our lives recently, I accidentally deleted the trick-o-treating pictures. Boo!! So, we'll start with Thanksgiving.

We trecked up to Dallas to spend Thanksgiving with Nana Jan and Grandpa. It was an intimate affair as Auntie Alicia chose to enjoy her turkey up in the Arctic Circle (just kidding, of course, well kinda anyway!). The girls got to bake sugar cookies with Nana Jan and they both had a really good time.
