Sara Plays T-ball

As soon as we got back from Disney, we hit the ground running. Part of what is making us so busy is that Sara is now involved in TWO activities (and Georgia Ann is in one activity). Sara started T-ball the week we got home from our big vacation. We signed her up on a co-ed team and I hope she'll learn some good behaviors from playing on a mixed-sex team (especially since she doesn't have a brother around). She's one of two girls on a 14 person team. So far, she's been enjoying it - and her throwing skills are improving. We got her a bat yesterday so we can practice hitting as well. She looks adorable out there!!

Some updates...

OK. I've been AWOL due to a VERY busy late summer/end of fall. Plus, there was disney. I want to update the blog - but Disney has overwhelmed me. I have 400+ pictures - and the entire story to tell. The thought is overwhelming...so, I keep putting it off. And, well, I'm going to keep putting it off... Hopefully soon, I'll have some time to share all the wonderful thing we did.

In the meantime, I can update you on what we've been doing the rest of the time. Mostly, just playing and dressing up. Here is proof (and yes, we run errands this way - well, I do make them put sensible shoes on and Sara has to wear an undershirt)...

Georgia Ann dances!

Guess who started her first day of dance?!?

She was so excited and proud to be doing this all by herself. And, she did great! While she did cry for a few minutes at drop-off (which was no surprise) - she soon joined the class and was one of the best ones. She kept up, listened to her teacher and even learned a few new moves. Yay Georgia!!

And this is what I get when I ask for her "sweet face". Pretty good, eh?

And this is "happy face". What a goof-ball!

GSP

We had a fabulous time with family during our yearly Garner trip. The girls loved fishing in the mornings, followed by splashing around in the river during the afternoon and then getting all dolled up for the nightly dances. Can't wait to go back again next year!
