Pics from Dallas

We've had a very busy January! Last weekend, we packed up the girls and headed to Dallas. Grandpa had surgery to remove skin cancer from his head (ouch!) so we wanted to go check up on him. Other than having a huge hole on the top of his head, he seemed to be recovering just fine. While we were up there, the girls also go to visit with Granny Hanak as she, Uncle Al and Aunt Linda came over for dinner on Saturday. Both girls had a great time!

(pictures are from Nana Jan - thanks!)

Sara insisted on wearing her new red "PJs" the entire weekend. They aren't really PJ's but Mommy forgot to bring the "lion" PJs so these made her happy instead. Whatever works, lol. The slippers are Auntie Alicia's. Sara also felt very special getting to sleep in Auntie Alicia's old bed.

Georgia kept busy with crawling around and exploring everything. We're convinced that she is going to be an electrician when she gets older. She LOVES electrical cords and we have to be extremely diligent with keeping them hidden (she'll go searching). She's also pulling up from time to time. She's going to be chasing Sara around in no time.

Sara helped Nana Jan make Granny Hanak's birthday cake. It was very yummy!

At the end of the dinner, Georgia wanted to crawl around under the table. In true big sister form, Sara couldn't stand Georgia getting all the attention and so she joined her under the table, lol.

Finally, a few more pictures of the girls just hanging out.

  1. I love that of all the appropriate baby toys surrounding Georgia, she is most interested in the dog toy. : ) ha!
